Working It Wednesday!


I was thinking of trying different work outs I'm seeing on pinterest and sharing my thoughts. Let's call it Working It on Wednesday!!  Today's work out is...


 
Over all this is a good little work out. I wouldn't use it as a main workout but a little bit of one is better than none!  I might use this on days where I KNOW I was LAZY at the gym or to wake up a bit more in the morning.

Motivational Monday



 Here's some Motivation for your Monday! :)  

Get up and move!





The weigh in..


 The hardest part of this journey was beginning. The heart wrenching part was stepping on the scale and seeing my weight in a public setting. I watched the arm going around and bounce in an area that was shocking..

 I have never ever shared my weight with anyone beyond my doctor. I dated my exboyfriend for YEARS and he never knew.  I am going to share it with my readers.

 When I started this, I weighed 284 pounds and I am 5' 5". That is technically, morbid obesity. I wasn't even that heavy when I was 9 months pregnant. I pretty much burst into tears.

 Seriously, guess how much  Green Bay's quarterback Aaron Rodgers weighs?



The 6'2" quarterback weighs in at 225 pounds. I weighed more than him.. That was SHAMEFUL. Since that day I have lost 19 lbs by cutting calories and carbs as well as increasing my activity level and lifting weights. I might not seems like much but its a big success to me and that time on the scale my tears were joyful.

I woke up...


In January, like many people I thought, " hey, I need to get into shape.." Then finally on February 9th, I did something about it. I walked into a gym and joined. It was terrifying. Exciting too. I started going to work out on my lunch breaks and eating better. I feel sooo much better than I did before. I've lost 19 pounds so far.

I have a big goal to reach. I'm hoping to blog at least once a week to publicly share my successes and set backs and maybe I can inspire someone else.

It's been awhile....


It's been almost a year since I left the blogging world. I briefly attempted to start a new blog but I figured I'd come back home like a good long lost daughter. 

My life has changed a bit and my blog will reflect that. I'm now a single mom who is struggling with making a lifestyle change to be healthier and lose weight.

I have missed blogging and reading my friends blogs. 



It's good to be back! :)
