A Doctor and A Date in One Day. *now with pictures*

I had the other day off from work to take Monkey for his 2 year check up. Monkey is huge! He turned 2 on June 9th and he is 36 inches tall.. Umm that's 3 feet! He also weighs 36 lbs! Doctor Crazy thinks he's too chubby. He might be a little chubby but C and I aren't small people. We weren't going to have a thin baby.

Doctor Crazy suggested I have him run around more. Um, how long has it been since she spent more than 5 to 10 minutes with a toddler? All he does is run! He runs from the minute he gets out of bed until he's runnning back into bed.

After the appointment with Doctor Crazy we headed to drop Monkey off with my aunt so that we could have grown-up time. Um not like that! Shesh. We just wanted to do lunch without trying to make a 2 year old eat his veggies or pick up his cup a million times.

We had a yummy lunch at Genghis Grill and then we headed to the movies to see Captain America. I enjoyed the movie especially considering I haven't been to the movies since Twilight Eclispse and I hadn't been to the movies with C since You Don't Mess With The Zohan. *We don't get out much*
Captain America was good but it wasn't great. I'm not really a movie reviewer but it didn't blow my mind. It was decent and I'm glad we saw it.

Being alone with C reminded me how much fun we used to have together. We even played in the Arcade afterwards and took our pics in the photo booth. :)

Super fun.

I'm sorry you wasted your $$ on Don't Mess With The Zohan. ;o) That has got to be the stupidest movie I've ever seen. When that one comes on TV, I always wonder how desperate the schedulers at that network must have been to include it in the line-up. Okay...I'll stop ranting now. It's just, I love Adam Sandler...and he is just determined to keep putting out horrible movies. ;o)

I love the pics of you and your husband. He looks almost identical to one of my neighbors on the street. It's a little alarming actually.
